First ride after my rest week. Legs were a little heavy at first, but after warming up they felt all right. Two long, 20-minute intervals along the Sagamigawa. Pace was about 80-85% max for the first 15 minutes, followed by a gradual increase in effort until the last minute, which was max effort. Going down the river, the first interval was pretty fast since there was a tailwind and I could also draft behind some fast cars. The second interval, heading back up the river, was much slower due to the stiff headwind.
