After yesterday's hard ride I wasn't sure what my condition would be like today, but I wanted to do another long and moderately hard ride to improve my endurance. Fortunately, I felt fine when I got up this morning, so I headed out Route 20 past Otsuki, climbed Sasago Pass, then headed down and back home. My legs were surprising okay, but it took me a while before they warmed up. Once they did I was able to roll at a good, solid pace, and even the climb up to Sasago Pass wasn't too bad. On the way back I tried to pick up the pace a little, but there was a stiff headwind that tired me out. Hopefully I'll be able to feel the benefits of this training soon, because right now I am really tired!
