Fukushima training camp, day 1

I arrived at Kagamiishi around 1130 with Nakamura-san. We rode around a bit trying to find the place where we were going to stay, but it wasn't open so we rode to the velodrome and met up with the track guys, unloaded our bags, and then headed out for an afternoon ride. It was hot and windy, but the riding itself was great. Nakamura-san picked some great roads, and we enjoyed lots of wide open and signal-free riding. Unfortunately, our riding time was limited because we got a late start, but there are still several days left in the camp.

久し振りの長距離。余市−積丹岬−カムイ岬−岩内−ニセコで140kmくらい。LSDなのに最後は足に力が入らなくなってちゃんと登れなかった。個人ロードもインカレもこれより長くレースペースで走るとか信じられない。まだまだ大きな壁があるなぁ。
