UTokyo bicycle racing team

Today I was finally able to try out a route which I've been thinking about since I moved to Takao. Plus, I got in some much-needed distance training.
Takao - Atsugi - Odawara - Hakone - Gotenba - Yamanakako - Sagamiko - Takao

It was a beautiful day for riding, but it was pretty cold up around Mt. Fuji. The first leg (Takao - Odawara) went by pretty fast. After that it was all uphill. I felt all right until leaving Gotenba. That stretch of road is decieving, because even though it looks mostly flat it's actually a gradual climb. At the end of the second leg I stopped at a conbini by Yamanakako for lunch, then headed out for the final leg home. I was pretty drained by that point, but since it's almost all downhill I could just spin it at a steady pace. I think I got enough climbing in today.
